2 reminders of this in the past 2 days.

the first was from a young woman who teaches and cares for toddlers. we were talking about yoga and how toddlers are so good at this. she told me that some, in her care, when they are stressed out, actually do the hands together, take a big breath, then put the hands up in the air and making a circle bring them around again, ON THEIR OWN. amazing!

the second from an old friend who has been stressed out. she is a massage therapist and learned body practitioner. she was telling me how she was so stuck in her mind at one point recently that she noticed she was holding her breath.

breath, a function of life, a healer of stress and a reminder that we are in our bodies.

I always like reminders.
